Points and airdrops on Robinhood Chain: what they are and how to avoid airdrop scams
TrnchLabs
How points programs and airdrops work on Robinhood Chain (chain ID 4663), why no points program guarantees a token, and how to spot the fake airdrops and claim pages that drain wallets.
An airdrop is a distribution of tokens to wallets, usually to reward early users. A points program tracks activity, such as trades, swaps or referrals, in a score kept off chain. Many projects run points before they have a token. Some later turn points into an airdrop; many never do. Here is how to read them on Robinhood Chain.
Points are not tokens
- Points live in a project's database. They are not in your wallet and cannot be sold.
- A project can change how points are earned, or what they are for, at any time.
- No points program guarantees a token, an airdrop or a value. Read the project's own terms.
Trnch Points
On Trnch, every trade, swap and bridge earns Trnch Points. Trnch has no token, and Trnch Points are not a promise of a token or an airdrop. They count your activity on Trnch, nothing more.
How airdrop scams work
- Fake claim pages: a site copies a project's look and asks you to connect and sign. The signature gives it your tokens.
- Unknown tokens in your wallet: a token you never bought appears, with a link to claim it. Do not open it, do not try to sell it.
- Messages from support: nobody legitimate asks for your recovery phrase to claim an airdrop.
- Approvals: a claim that asks for an unlimited approval on your tokens is a drain, not a gift.
Protect your wallet
Only follow claim links from a project's official site and accounts, read every signature your wallet shows, and revoke approvals you no longer need with Revoke in Trnch Tools. Keep long-term funds in a wallet you never connect to claim pages.
FAQ
Is there a Robinhood Chain airdrop?
Only the projects involved can announce one. Ignore any claim page or message that does not come from their official channels.
Does Trnch have a token or an airdrop?
No. Trnch has no token. Trnch Points count your activity on Trnch and are not a promise of a token or an airdrop.
How do I know an airdrop claim page is fake?
Check the address bar, find the link on the project's official site, and never sign an approval or share a recovery phrase to claim.
A token I never bought appeared in my wallet. What do I do?
Leave it alone. Do not open its links or try to sell it: unknown tokens are a common way to bait wallets.
